WALL STREET INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES
THE ADDITION OF HARVARD BUSINESS PUBLISHING’S HARVARD MANAGEMENTOR
PROGRAM TO ITS PRODUCT LINE
Announcement made at Wall Street Institute’s
Annual Conference for global
network partners Baltimore, MD and Las Vegas, NV – January 21, 2010
- Wall Street Institute, the world’s premier provider of English
language instruction for adults, today announced the
addition of the Harvard Business Publishing’s Harvard ManageMentor
program to its
product offering. Students in the Wall Street Institute global
network will now be able to
access this premium management development program to help achieve
their language
and career training goals. The announcement was made at Wall Street
Institute’s
Annual Conference for its global network partners, Connections 2010,
being held in Las
Vegas, USA.
The Harvard ManageMentor program is the most relevant, engaging
resource for
fostering management skills, and includes 42 topics. Each module
offers interactive
exercises to provide a safe environment to practice new skills along
with practical tools,
worksheets, and tips.
“The Harvard ManageMentor offering is a fantastic
tool for students to use for their
career development, and can help them achieve their career
advancement goals,” said
Curtis Uehlein, Wall Street Institute’s President and COO. “The wide
variety of topics
offered cover many important business management areas and issues.
We are excited
to be able to offer our students such quality materials produced by
a highly regarded
business training organization.”
Topics are designed to deepen the student’s
knowledge of things including Leadership,
Performance Management, Communications, and Business Strategy. The
program
includes over 200 interactive learning activities, over 125
executive perspectives on the
various topics, and over 350 video elements.
The Harvard ManageMentor product complements the core English
language education
WSI students receive in the centers. This additional training gives
students and
corporate clients more opportunities to help them achieve their
language learning goals.
"Our partnership with Wall Street Institute is
quickly expanding the reach of Harvard
Business Publishing's corporate offerings,” said Ian Fanton, Vice
President and
Managing Director, Corporate Learning for Harvard Business
Publishing. “We look
forward to working together to bring Harvard ManageMentor to WSI
students around the
world, in keeping with our mission to improve the practice of
management."
The announcement of this new product offering follows the unveiling
of a new iPhone
application earlier this week. Both new products were introduced at
Wall Street
Institute’s Annual Conference taking place through January 21 in Las
Vegas, USA.
Franchise owners and other top Wall Street Institute executives from
around the world
attend the annual conference to learn about new products and discuss
corporate goals
and strategies for the coming year. Representatives from around the
world gathered in
Las Vegas for this year’s event.
“The annual conference is a great opportunity for
people across the WSI network to get
together and share ideas,” said Timothy Daniels, Wall Street
Institute’s Chairman and
CEO. “It is great for business, as products are introduced and best
practices are shared,
and it is good for teambuilding.”
The Harvard ManageMentor program will be available
to Wall Street Institute students
across the network through a phased roll-out that will begin this
year.
